This is not an easy topic to put my own words to. I am relying heavily in this post on those that have wiser words to share and better ways of explaining God’s will for this particular issue. I do not envy those that have to struggle with this law and commandment from God. I am grateful for The Family: A Proclamation to the World and the teachings it provides us as times in this world get more confusing. We have agency, but that does not mean God has not set out boundaries, laws and commandments to live by. They are there to keep us safe and close to Him. I believe this with all of my heart and I also try to live this way, as well. I am a big proponent for families. I love hearing that two people are striving together, day in and day out, to keep their family together. I have seen throughout my life the effects that divorce has on a family and it makes me sad, especially for the children, that people have to go through this trial.
